Blazing the trail to an equitable and sustainable future for all lgbtq+ elders.

SAGEVenture is a hub of entrepreneurship and innovation.

It’s the social enterprise division of SAGE, the world’s largest and oldest organization dedicated to improving the lives of LGBTQ+ elders. We are creating new, innovative ventures, products, and offerings with forward-looking sustainable funding models.

ABOUT US

Mission

SAGEVenture is built by loving, caring and daring activists.

SAGEVenture’s purpose is to build momentum and scale our impact and equity for LGBTQ+ elders everywhere.

SAGEVenture provides expertise in LGBTQ+ aging, Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI), and advocating for historically marginalized groups. Ventures under SAGEVenture are social enterprises that both contribute to SAGE’s mission and operate as fee-for-service businesses.

what we do

WE BELIEVE IN DOING WELL BY DOING GOOD.

SAGEVenture is a laboratory of change and innovation by SAGE, the world’s largest organization dedicated to advocacy, services and innovations for LGBTQ+ elders. Its ventures help fund SAGE’s services, which allow LGBTQ+ elders to thrive.

At SAGEVenture, we’re creating innovative new ventures, products, and offerings with forward-looking funding models that advance SAGE’s mission and financial strength.

why we do it

WE STAND ON THE SHOULDERS OF GIANTS.

Spurred by the Stonewall uprising 40 years ago, SAGE was created by loving, caring activists in order to serve our pioneers. That’s why we’ll never stop searching for new and better ways to advance our mission, while reinvesting profits to create a virtuous circle of change. Because no LGBTQ+ elder should feel alone. Because we refuse to be invisible.

HOW WE DO IT

HUB OF ENTREPRENEURSHIP AND INNOVATION.

Currently, SAGEVenture provides paid consulting and training for businesses that serve LGBTQ+ elders through its SAGECare, SAGE’s LGBTQ+ cultural competency credentialing program.

As SAGEVenture expands, we are looking to create innovative business models that improve the lives of LGBTQ+ elders.
